McDonalds Customers Rampage

There's no justification for what she did.
Now, if they would have taken the Egg McMuffin off the menu, shoot yeah, I'd break glass too. :p

What I see happening.

The heavier set black woman is telling the woman in the car something, somewhat pointedly. The woman starts to get out of the car and the window, seemingly, closes on its own. The woman tries forcing the window back open, a second clerk tries to press a button on the window's control (to close it more?) and the woman from the car reaches in, smacks the second clerk fairly hard and manages to force the window back open while yelling, pointedly, into the store.

The black woman goes back up to the window to attempt to close it again manually and gets a punch in the face for her troubles and then defensively pushes the woman off getting more punches in the face. The black woman backs off, pulling some hair with her (it's unclear if she's doing this with intent or as a side-effect of her defensive measures)

The black woman continues to give the customer a "calm down and back off" gesture and the customer continues to yell and make agressive measures towards the window.

The second clerk comes back in and again tries to close the window but the customer tries to prevent this from happening. The two clerks manage to get the window closed and press some button on the control. (locking it?)

The customer then hits at the window with her arms a few times, gives up, gets back in the car and brings something out with her and tosses it at the window. It appears to be a bottle of some-kind, possibly a bottle of beer as when it smashes into the window a good deal of foam gets on the glass which is now broken through. (Safety glass.) The woman then crashes through the rest of the safety glass and drives off.

Now, there's no audio so we don't know what is being said and maybe the clerk had some sass to her when she was telling the customer the order could not be filled but during the initial confrontation the woman in the car does something to the clerk. It's not clear if she makes a non-contact swipe of if the contact succeeded. But the black clerk walks off (having made no physical contact with the woman, the door starts to close on its own and the second clerk comes along to fiddle with the controls. It as this point the woman gets out of her car, reaches through the closing window and makes the first physical contact by punching the second woman trying to close the window. The black woman comes back, again, to close the woman and gets punched in the face and simply defensively tries to protect herself resulting in the hair-pull.

I'm sorry, after watching this video a couple of times now I'm not seeing how the clerk did anything to say she played a role in this altercation. She and the other clerk tried several times to close the window and the woman prevented that from happening and gives the clerks a couple good punches in the face for their troubles.

About the only thing the clerk does is tug at the woman's hair, after being punched a couple times and in the process of trying to push the woman away.

So I'm scratching my head how either clerk did anything to warrant or provoke these attacks beyond defending themselves and trying to close the window. Granted, this is all from a video with no audio to it but at the same time the first physical contact is made by the woman in the car in the form a few pretty good punches and by"forcing her way" back in the store by preventing the unaided window from closing.

I was just thinking that this short video needed a longer, John Madden-like play-by-play so we could understand what it was that we just saw, but in a less concise form.

:wtf:

I was outlining what I saw because Roger Wilco seemed to think that the clerk(s) were making the situation worse with their actions. My point was that neither clerk did anything physical to warrant the attack and did try and close the window and the customer is the one who made the offensive physical attacks. The only physical attacks that come from the clerks is when the black woman pushes the customer away (while she is being hit) and in the process seems to pull the customer's hair. So my wonderment is how anyone could watch this video and think that the employees did anything to escelate or even cause the situation? The first physical contact is made by the woman in the car either when she swipes at the black woman from within in it or punches the second employee in the face when she is trying to close the window.

So, please, thell me what that employee did to deserve a punch in the face?

And, please, tell me what the black woman did to deserve being punched and pulled out the window where she then defended herself by (oh no!) pulling on meth-heads greasy hair?

That was my point of the recap. To understand where the fuck RW was coming from to say that the employees somehow caused the situation or deserve some blame for what happened. They were attacked!

(And, again, this is all accepting the fact the black woman may have used some choice words when she was talking to woman which, regardless, doesn't warrant physical contact.)

I never said the employee deserved being punched in the face, of course that would be absurd. I only said she also didn't handle the situation optimally and that fighting back was not the best call.

That's a tough thing to judge someone for, though.

Someone takes a swing at me, I am swinging right back. There isn't really any thought involved. I can't fault anyone for responding reflexively when they're physically attacked.

The only time she fights back is when she's being pulled through a window! She fights back defensively to prevent herself from being injured from the experience.

EDIT -

Ok, she doesn't push the woman defensively from being pulled out the window, but from being punched in the face. She's defensively pushing her attacker her away rather than, you know, just taking it.

I also kind of wonder what was meant/going on when the MethWoman raises her leg up like a sumo wrestler doing a nandiska stomp.

I thought she was either attempting to perform a standing straddle jump into the booth, or perhaps she had a momentary urge to relieve her bladder.

I'm wondering if whoever was taking orders thought to suggest the Southern Style Chicken Biscuit. The filling appears to be a breaded breast fillet and probably is an actual piece of chicken that would taste better than the molded ground poultry the nuggets are made of.

I've heard some breaded chicken requires fixed food volumes to make the temperature of the pressure fryer follow the correct temperature curve. If the nuggets are cooked using such a process instead of a conventional open fryer (like potatoes are cooked in) preparing a single order of nuggets might not have been reasonable.

Still doesn't justify the way the customer abused the crew and property.
