Maybe I won't die before Axanar concludes!

My brother and I both loved Star Trek growing up and we both were blown away by the Four Years war (Prelude to Axanar). Sadly my brother died a few of years ago without being able to see it's conclusion. I had given up hope, but I did see a new (one of many) YouTube updates today saying it would be released in 60 days. We'll see...

What did interest me is the Skydance purchase... and the HOPE that they might be more accepting of fan based films and not as litigious... we'll see.

It was sad too see how many actors that were in Prelude to Axanar passed away over the last dozen of years this thing has been strung out.

RIP to your brother.

As far as the production goes, Peters brought much of this on himself and the greater fan film community. Peters tried to turn Star Trek into his personal piggy bank and burned himself and the fan film community.

CBS/Paramount don't have a problem with fan films. They have a problem with fan films making money off of CBS's intellectual property, which is what Axanar did, forcing CBS to create fan film guidelines that made other, innocent fan film producers suffer because of what Peters did.
