Maya 2008...Can I dl models?

Hey guys. I just got Maya 2008. And since I know very little about how to use it I figured I should come here and ask a question or two. First off. Is there any place where I could DL some already made objects to play around with? Like maybe a Enterprise model or maybe a character? Can a person get say the Hulk model/object already made up and DL it to mess around with. Either fan made or the model actually made by the fx company? Thanks for any help guys...

A google or two will probably provide you with some sources to experiment with. You might want to try ShareCG.

Did you download the Maya personal education trial? You may find a maximum render resolution limit. Have fun!

Howdy...
No I bought the full version. But anyways. I was really hoping to dl a model of the enterprise. Im thinking the only way Im gonna get one of those is to either ask very politely or hack into the server where they keep the actual virtual model they used on TOS remasetered.
