I freakin' love this series!
I just love the noir comic book style, and the story . . . Max always gets the worst doesn't he?

I'm excited about MP3 which I guess is still in development
the movie was horrible

anyone else love Max Payne?
anyone else think Lords and Ladies, Address Unknown, Dick Justice, or Captain Baseball Bat Boy would make hilarious adult swim shows?

MP1 was fun but MP2 was epic. Part two is one of my favorite games ever. I hope they can keep it going with MP3. I didn't see the movie but I didn't hear a lot of good things about it anyway.

I have MP1 for PC and PS2, and MP2 for PS2. Didn't see the movie...probably won't, either. I love MP1 for PC. It's amazing. Also...the cheat codes are nifty (yes, I prefer to play with cheats. No fun if you die every few minutes). MP & MP2 for Playstation 2...I'm not too fond of them. I just don't like how un-fluid the controls seem compared to the PC (a crappy comparison, but I got to know the series on PC first)...and the fact that I can't seem to get the cheats to work...just takes a bit of the fun out of it for me. Got a new computer recently...and I can't play my original MP on it. It's vista, and according to the guy at the store, most older games won't work on Vista. So, if there is a MP3...I think I will probably buy it.

I loved Max Payne 2. It was positively creepy. All copies of the movie need to be burned.

The first was a really good action game, and the second game ramped it up to absolutely epic proportions. I love the series and honestly cannot wait for the third installment. The comic-noir style story telling gave the game such an amazing atmosphere and made me feel like I was playing a living breathing comic book.

Max Payne 1 was the 1st game I ever played when I owned a PS2 console and I couldn't put it down loved it. Never really got into Max Payne 2 becasue I sold my PS2 shortly after buying it and its just not the same on PC.

However since am back with my parents I have been thinking about playing it on my bro's PS2 especially after hearing so many people in this thread call it epic.

I've still only played Max Payne 1 since MP2 doesn't have a Mac version.

Now that I've got an Intel Mac it may be time to rectify that.....

One of my favorite series. I like the original a bit better then the second. Looking forward to the third installment.

The movie was a bit of a disappointment. All they had to do was follow the story laid out in the game. It did not even need any altering. Dummies.

I picked up the first two when they were on sale on Steam for a couple of bucks each but I haven't had a chance to play them yet. Too many games not enough time.

Prefer a controller to play MP with and I don't have on for my PC.
