I think I'd have preferred Matt Damon - he would have done better at filling the seats, which absolutely *must* happen with this film if we want Trek to continue.

But I don't think either one of them are all *that* sexy.

The really sad part of all this is that there are, apparently, people in the world who actually believe that what some magazine article writers thing actually COUNTS FOR A DAMNED THING.

I think that my high school girlfriend is the sexiest woman in the world. (Hey, I have my reasons, don't ask... ) SO... if I were a magazine editor, would that mean I could foist my personal opinion on the rest of the world and expect to be worshipfully obeyed???

Considering how many times that accusation has been erroneously leveled at Shatner, perhaps it's only fair that we start accusing Pine of the same thing now, as sort of a way of inaugurating him into the roll.

i think we are getting kirk in his late 20's or so.
just a little too young for damon.
now if they were doing trek with kirk already captain of enterprise or say filling in the time period after the motion picture till wrath of khan he would have been a good choice.
