Massive MPAA fail: some f-bombs in therapy worse than testicle torture

Re: Massive MPAA fail: some f-bombs in therapy worse than testicle tor

If a parent wants their kid to watch this movie they can take them to watch it or buy them a ticket and drop them off if the theater allows it.

My own experience is that most theaters don't allow that, perhaps for fear of complaints from indignant other customers. ("I just saw an unsupervised child watching BLOOD SCREAM!")

Although my dad once managed to talk a reluctant theater manager into letting my little sister see THE BOYS FROM BRAZIL unaccompanied by an adult.

"Sir, are you sure your daughter can cope with this subject matter?"

"Well, she's read the book four times . . . ."

Yes, but more generally, the parent shouldn't have to be there at all in the case of this particular movie. If, by some miracle, an unaccompanied minor hanging around at a multiplex would rather see The King's Speech than White Chicks or Twilight, why the fuck should the MPAA get in his/her way?!

Well, chances are, THE KING'S SPEECH won't be playing at the multiplex at all. It will be at the art house downtown . . ..
