Mass Effect 2!

Dragon Age will be releasing on both the Xbox 360 and PC simultaneously (the PC version was delayed a few months for that reason, IIRC), so I wouldn't be surprised if the same happens with Mass Effect 2.

Dragon Age was delayed because they weren't happy with the state of the game, and wanted more time to work on it. That delay brought it pretty close to the 360 timeline anyways, so the decision was made to sync the two releases.

The release sync was effect, not cause.

I'll probably get Dragon Age, if the reviews are up to snuff, but Mass Effect is the one I really want. There's so much they can expand upon in the sequel.

Tis just a teaser trailer, although my initial reaction was one of disbelief. If they do a KOTOR 2 Exile angle, I'm not getting ME 2. 'Cause I kept wondering where the heck was Revan throughout the game and didn't like any of the new chars nor the loopy holes in the story.

BioWare said ME is a trilogy with Shepard as the main protaganist, they'd better stick to that.

Too bad Dragon Age is pushed back but if they can fine tune the problems, that's fine with me.

With KOTOR, Obsidian had a major problem with the continuation: namely, the two endings Revan could have were very different. With Mass Effect, Bioware knew ahead of time that they'd have two continuations, and thus made sure that their story was more linear.

Yeah - it seems more likely that Shepard has gone underground for some reason and the trailer is a fakeout.

Yeah, that and ME2 is gonna be friggin huge. Apparently it'll take up 2 discs, something I haven't seen a game do in... quite some time.

Lost Odyssey for 360 was on 3-5 discs, I forget the exact number but at least 3.
