I read the TOS/Planet of the Apes comics, and it was pretty fun. Boom! has done a whole bunch of PotA crossovers since they got the license, along with Star Trek they've also done, Green Lantern, Tarzan, and King Kong.
 
The other Joanna McCoy-story that Marvel did was in 1998's Star Trek: Untold Voyages #3 (titled "Past Imperfect"), set during the second 5YM under Kirk's command, about two years after Star Trek: The Motion Picture:

Yeah, that issue was written by my buddy Glenn Greenberg. :) Actually, come to think of it, I've also become friends with Martin Pasko in the last few years, who wrote Joanna McCoy's other Marvel comic book appearance. What are the odds?

(They're both really nice guys, BTW.) :techman:
