I believe someone at NYCC, I think Jeph Loeb, straight up came out and announced that no one has been cast for Jessica or Luke Cage yet.
However, if you want to assume that they intend to start shooting Jessica Jones within the next 3-4 months, then we should be hearing something sooner rather than later.
Perhaps in a month or two or three we'll get an annoucement about Daredevil being done with filming, or an official DD release date, and they'll add some casting news into that. Though now that I think about it, that's not really Marvel's style, is it? They seem to enjoy releasing single little press releases for each individual news item they want to announce.
Yeah, I would expect the announcements of the lead roles for the other series to get their own individual announcements.
The descriptions of the scenes they showed at the panel sound pretty good.
As for the black costume, I think it works pretty well as an early costume, but I can't believe they wouldn't use the red suit at some point.

I think they should go with the original garish yellow and red outfit. After all, how does a blind guy have a fashion sense?
(Although the comics did establish that Murdock's heightened senses let him distinguish colors by their heat absorption/reflection. I think that would work more for shades than actual colors per se, though.)

It's a stupid idea that doesn't really work.
Matt Murdock may not be able to see what his costume looks like, but he isn't stupid either. He knows that it has to have a certain appearance to others. He can go into a fabric store and ask for a certain color. Unless the store is staffed by terrible people, they'd probably help him out.

I vaguely remember Krysten Ritter from Veronica Mars, though I had to look up her name to remind me where I'd seen her. Having only seen her in the one role, I can't judge how she'd be as Jessica Jones, but she's certainly attractive. I've apparently seen Colter in Men in Black III, but I don't remember what I thought of him, aside from a vaguely positive impression, maybe.

And suddenly I actually care about this production. I've never read any Jessica Jones comics and barely knew she existed until the Netflix announcement. However, I adored Krysten Ritter when she was on Breaking Bad, so now I'm interested.
Does anyone know when any of these will actually be out?
