I haven't read Uncanny but yes, the Dr. is getting around.
It'll have six films unless they increase to more than two films in any given year. Ant-Man and The Avengers 3 will presumably open and close the phase. Thor 3, Captain America 3, and Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (if the box office is strong enough for the first film) may well fill three slots. That would leave one slot, with Dr. Strange the strongest contender to fill it.So Phase 3 looks like it'll have 6 or 7 movies. We already know about Ant-Man, Thor 3, Captain America 3, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, and Avengers 3. Doctor Strange seems like a safe bet, too, which leaves only one potential free slot - maybe for Captain Marvel, Black Panther, or Hulk?

Does magic exist in the MCU? The Asgardians are aliens and their magic is just advanced technology. Dr. Strange would be an odd addition without some sort of change in his origins.I think Dr.Strange is among a few characters that could be deemed "strongest contenders" but I think he wins out on the types of various avenues a Strange film could go down.
The MCU doesn't have a mystic/magician/mage that can have stories based in horror, cosmic, magical and super heroes. The versatility is there.
Where the other strong contenders, Black Panther, Inhumans or Ms.Marvel don't offer as many variables.
But being an Asgardian, wouldn't her sorcery actually be "science"?Marissa Tanchareon said this about the upcoming Lorelei appearance on AoS...
"She has the power of sorcery, so that's interesting to see how our team deals with that......Maybe a few are enamored with her."

That's the question a Dr.Strange movie will answer according to Feige. While the Asgardians might have alluded that their magic&science are one in the same based on perspective that doesn't mean that magic itself doesn't exist in the MCU. We just haven't had a portal character into that realm yet.Does magic exist in the MCU? The Asgardians are aliens and their magic is just advanced technology.
