My thoughts, re: Jimmy

I didn't mind it. In the comics, IIRC, Jimmy is much younger than Lois, Clark, et.al. So having him the same age in this series sort of flew in the face of this. It was sort-of lame but I see why they did it.

You and Christopher are certainly more forgiving than I am.

Introducing a major mythos character, establishing that character for a number of years, then killing him off and deciding that he was never that character at all is beyond lame if you ask me. It was one of the show's biggest blunders. I can't imagine what problem with the character's presence was so big that doing this was considered a good fix. If it was his age, I didn't care. Not every version of Superman has to have stuff like this so exact or in line with whatever canon or tradition they think exists.

So Annette O'Toole AND Perry White are returning?

I'm suddenly very interested in tuning in.... I wonder if this will take place before or during the season (series?) finale.

Now all we need is baldy mcbaldhead back. I do miss Michael Rosenbaum and his Lex

In a past interview Rosenbaum said that he'd only come back if it were the series finale.

And Ausiello has also hinted that the big obstacle for Rosenbaum's return is that he really likes having his hair back, apparently....

What I've heard of Rosenbaum is, he'll come back if it's A) critical and B) he can wear a bald cap.

He won't shave his head anymore.

I foresee him being in the eventual series finale.

I agree to an extent. I can't decide if that was a complete cheat or a very ballsy move.
