Mars "Attacks" the (TOS era) Federation.

I know that here are no native Martians on the planet Mars in the Trek universe but what if TOS era Federation faced an Invasion or War by a bloodthirsty Alien race with an Equally bloodthirsty Civilization:

There are even more cards depicting this evil shit. Look them up since I'm not goign to post all of them.

Mars Attacks was a name of a card series released in 1962 by Topps, depicting an Invasion to Earth by Martians. This series was notorious for being extremely graphic with gratuitous amounts of blood and gore and the slaughtering of both Humans and animals in very disturbing ways. Reminiscent of War Crimes and Atrocities committed by the Axis Powers in WWII. Specifically, Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan..

This was also adapted into the 1996 Film by Tim Burton.

How would the Federation react if an alien invasion force committed many of the Atrocities a seen in the cards on Federation Civillians or Colonists on occupied planets? Brutally Murdering them in in cruel and unusual ways and torturing and mutilating them via extremely inefficient and crude methods of doing "experiments". as seen here:

This is clearly aren't conducting "Experiments". This is Torture of the most horrific degree.. i'm pretty sure the Federation's Technology is more advanced than that.

If any of the Invading Forces ever survived and were taken by the Federation and put on trial for their war crimes. how would those pan out?

i'm talking about how the Federation in a war would react to learning about the existence of War Crimes to the degree of "Mars Attacks" being committed by the enemy civilization whenever they occupy or conquer a federation world.:

If you were a Federation Citizen during a war and you learned that the enemy side did this to Civilians in Occupied Federation planets how would YOU feel?

The creator of these cards seems just a tad too obsessed with displaying gory and sadistic details for my tastes. I'd believe it readily if someone were to tell me that he must have had some dark fetishes or psychological issues himself.

But, hey at the very least, in pictures like #60, the alien invaders had the minimum decency to keep their victim covered from the waist down. And to let the female captive keep her underwear. And to appear in underwear themselves. Because obviously the depiction of this innocent little Auschwitz-style scene would have been so much more offensive, had it 'shown more'.

Also, if you just want a general discussion about how the Federation population at large would respond to the threat of an enemy both brutal and sadistic, what's the actual added value of showing all these pictures?

Okay, well there's a lot to unpack here.

First of all, if you have threads about the "TOS Era" or "How would the TOS Federation respond..." post them in the TOS Forum.

Second those images are disgusting, and serve no good purpose. "If you were a Federation Citizen during a war and you learned that the enemy side did this to Civilians in Occupied Federation planets how would YOU feel?" Really? That's the question?

Third, they all seem to be coming from different websites that I don't recognize. Unless you own all of them, you're hotlinking to someone else's site, which I have already warned you about before. So unless you can demonstrate to me that you own all those linked sites, you're getting a formal warning. Comments to PM.

Fourth I don't have time to convert all those images to regular links, so I'm simply closing this now until I can get to it. Again, unless you can prove you own all those different linked sites.
