My bracket is pretty much dead. Kind of stopped following the tournament because of it too.

Yeah I did not predict Sparty would shit the bed like that. I had them going to the finals. The only saving grace is that a lot people whiffed on that one.

Well, lost my champ on day one, pretty happy I didn't put money in my usual pool this year. Ugh, oh well.

For me to win my work pool at this point I need a lot of things to happen.
1) Kansas wins it all.
2) Indiana beats North Carolina.
3) Xavier then beats Indiana.
4) Xavier then loses to whoever they face in the final four.

The reason I need Indiana is that I'm one point behind another co-worker who has identical picks as mine *except* he had Kentucky in that spot in the elite eight, and he had Xavier beating Michigan State in the final four. And the other co-worker who can beat me if Kansas wins it all have them winning against North Carolina.

But, Kansas winning will put me no lower than third.

I had Michigan State in the finals but all my other elite eight picks are still in, so if I get Kansas, Oklahoma, and Xavier I'll probably end up very high in the national percentiles.

This is getting weird, this is the third year in a row my runner up pick got upset in the first round. Two years ago, Duke. Last year, Iowa State. Next year I'll tell you who my runner up pick is so you all can avoid them.

annoyingly, I'm actually doing pretty well at the moment in the bracket, I just know I don't have any points waiting for me at the end. Got most of the right upsets, haven't lost many teams yet.

Well, with Kansas losing I'm officially out. I did terribly this year. I'm going to have to regroup and come up with a better plan next time.

I made 13 brackets over 4 or 5 sites trying to win some money. I've got Oklahoma winning in two of them. That's about it.

I hadn't really checked in, thinking most of my bracket had been destroyed when Michigan State got upset, but I did pretty well, much to my surprise.
