Shouldn't be surprised that my Gophers went one and done. Oh well, they looked good for the first 8 minutes or so.

North Dakota State is giving Kansas a run for their money. Win or lose, they've played an impressive game.

Not doing well on my Tourney Pick'em- only 12/16 correct. I'm really hurting in the south bracket.

Tied at 72 all with 1:20 to go, Tennessee and OSU. How Okie State has managed to stay in this game with all its players with 4 fouls is beyond me. My heart is stopping here. You need this shot, OSU. You need it really, really bad because you can't make it through overttime with this foul trouble.

Syracuse must have called off the dogs, because SFA closed that margin by a fair amount.

Next up ASU/Temple. This is my first big upset pick - I put Temple in the Sixteen.

I kept yelling at the TV screen to those assholes (a.k.a. my Tennessee Vols), "Don't take the three-point shot if it isn't there!" They kept doing it, and look what happened.

At least I've still got Syracuse (for now).

That was pathetic defense on that final play from Tennessee. Way to go leaving the entire lane open for the easy layup when you are trying to prevent that. Sheesh.

Pendergragh and Glasser are scoring at will for ASU. I think my upset pick is a bust.

I think having seen the Pac-10 all season I became a little biased against them. I saw them at their best and their worst and figured Temple and VCU could beat them.

I would not have believed my eyes if they hadn't already pulled the same stunt a few other times during the game. Totally pathetic. Clearly, the Vols who showed up today were the ones who lost to Mississippi State and not the very professional-looking bunch that embarrassed Florida and Auburn.

Temple is still keeping it close though. Game is still early. And Dayton is winning too but, like we saw yesterday, the lower seeds need to play the entire 40 minutes, not just 35.

Tennessee sounds as schizophrenic as Oklahoma State's been this year. They've beaten Oklahoma and lost to the Baylor Bears in embarrassing fashion. If my Cowboys could ever figure out how not to get into foul trouble they might have a prayer against a big team like Pitt. So far, it's been a question of which starter will get four fouls first every damn time we play and how early they'll get their fourth.

I have to admit, I was surprised at how wide open Eaton was for the last basket. Somebody got caught sleeping.

Well, it would seem that either FatFingeritis or carelessness has cost me a game. For some rason I had picked "N Dakota St to beat Kansas. Oops.

I'm in a pool on Facebook with a few friends. Thursday morning I logged in to make some last minute changes, but the site was having issues. This morning I check it and find that it did not save anything from the Final Four through the championship, it's all blank. So much for that bracket.
