Oh no, I'm starting to see the future... Now I'm gonna start sounding like a certain someone else on the boards... lol. Nerys! Come up with a good challenge, I know you can.

Wow...thanks! I wasn't expecting to wake up to that! :cardie:

I'll think on a challenge, and when I get home from work today, I'll have one for you. :)

Congrats, NG! A great win with a great story. :)

We now await your challenge . . .

*hums absently, with the occasional furtive glance at his watch*

Congratulations, Nerys! :techman:

May I say, I have never been more honored to lose so completely! ;) You deserve your victory--and I too look forward to your topic.

(And, yes, folks--I did vote for Nerys.)

Congratulations, Nerys. I did really like your story. It had depth and an unexpected explanation for the reason behind his injuries that was very well handled. Now, about the next topic-if you will lighten it up I swear I will make enough time to finish an entry. Promise. Cross my heart and hope to die. :) But it's your topic, of course, so you decide what it is. I'm just trying to influence whatever options you may have in mind. :)

Awww...well, I have a feeling that had 2 votes been allowed instead of just one, yours would've come in a LOT closer. (In that scenario I actually had a guess that it would be a 3-way run-off between you, me, and TLR, with the winner completely unpredictable from that point.)

Thanks for the kind words!

As to Berat's injuries, there were brief allusions to it in a couple stories, but I am glad to know that there were details about it that surprised you.

Well, I have an idea and I'm HOPING it's one you'll find "light." Not quite sure if it'll fit the bill, but I'd already had it in mind this morning.
