I voted for TheLoneRedshirt's Reluctant Lieutenant. Tough decision this month! Everyone's stories were an interesting read... lots of engrossing darkness. It was an excellent topic and I'm sorry I wasn't able to put in the time on an entry of my own.

Yeah, me too.

"Passing of Value" was good...but in the end, I have to go with "The Reluctant Lieutenant" for telling a story about Akinola I'd always wanted to know, and telling it well.

Actually, they all were good. Flash almost had me-it was right there with TLR's story, as was Sierra 59, Passing..., hell, they were all good. Not an easy decision so I went with TLR because he has prettier eyes. And Solly Brin.
