This mission, should you choose to accept it, is to make a picture of either a star trek ship, or crew, either shrunk down to the size of toys, or on a planet of giants. 3D, 2D, photo manip, whatever you want to do it in is fine. This message will self destruct in five seconds...
Oh, I have an idea for this, and no, I don't already have an image on hand that fits the bill (as with the borg-tribble "incident"). I do have a question about the rules (so as to hopefully avoid any other embarrassments). We can use another person's 3D model as long as the creator allows its use and we provide appropriate credit, right? Sincerely, Bill
What's to keep someone from just taking a snapshot of their dog chewing on their Playmates Enterprise toy?
Guess I'll have to see if I can get my cat to pose with my Playmates TOS Enterprise and figure out how my mom's camera phone works...
Question: May I resubmit a revised version of something I've already e-mailed to Ptrope, or does that make my entry final? Thanks. {ProfJonathan}
Until the deadline hits, you can submit anything you want to me - just as long as the final one is on time, and it's clear which single image is your final entry. :thumbsup:
I'm not into Photoshopping, but an idea occured to me, and I'd love to see someone run with it: Take the improved beam-down scene from the freshly remastered ep "By Any Other Name", when Kirk and party appear on the surface of the world to be captured by Rojan. Instead of the remastered background, try putting Kirk and company in a sandbox, with kids and toys! Another possibility would be the same concept, except using the beam-down scene for Cestus III from "Arena". That would be interesting.
Re: March Challenge: Its a small trek after all - FINAL REMINDER All entries need to be e-mailed to ptrope at gmail dot com by midnight, GMT, Mar. 31, 2008 (so, less than 24 hours ) to be included in the poll. Images must be in their final form - the moderator will not edit or caption them beyond what appears in the actual image itself.
