March Challenge-First Contact

I want to thank everyone again for reading and voting for Death Valley. It was a blast to write and I'm glad it was well received.

Now, enough about me and on to this month's challenge.

The March challenge is "First Contact". Entries should deal with a first contact situation of some type, of previously known Trek entities, etc. or entirely made up for the competition or from your own fan fiction series/stories. Let your imagination run wild.

Rules: 3500 maximum word limit. That's about it. Any Star Trek era is acceptable. Also, anything from drama to comedy to whatever is fine as long as it deals with a first contact situation. The competition ends 12:00am EST on March 31, 2008.

Um... i did First Contact as the theme last March when i won by default of being the sole entrant in February...

just an FYI, whether you want to change or not is up to you...

On the other hand-I wasn't here last March and I think there are a few others who are new as well so if you decide you want to keep this topic, that, too, would be ok.
