OK, I'm doing a redesign of the FJ destroyer/scout class, using the ring-mounted nacelles that I'm so fond of in bigger ships. Here's a go.

Is that long angled windows on the ring?

I like it! The ring surrounding the deflector is like an eye. In fact, it reminds me a little of Ulysses' ship from Ulysses 31.

Different! Is that a temp texture on the ring? Because the panel lines look rather random and rectangular.

The blue behind the cutouts on the ring [and I mirrored it on the nacelle] are supposed to be linked to power transfer, at least in my four-engine and two-engine versions of this idea... I've not defined it too specifically.

And yes, the texture on the ring needs to be adjusted, I didn't notice it was wonky until I looked at the pics.
