So, this years' Emmy Award nominations are out. The Sci-Fi genre seems to be going in pretty strong this year.

I'm pretty happy with the overall representation, although I'm disappointed that after last year's win, Tatiana Maslany wasn't even nominated this year.

I would not be surprised if The Handmaid's Tale won all of its categories, although I'm torn between Samira Wiley, Ann Dowd and Stranger Things' Millie Bobbie Brown. Speaking of which, you forgot to include Alexis Bledel's and Shannon Purser's nominations for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series.

Sadly, she wasn't. Legion wasn't recognized at all.
At the very least you would think it would be up for some technical awards.

As I get older, I enjoy awards shows but don't really put any stock in the choices or winners. I grumble sometimes at the nominations or winners but ultimately I suspect there's more than just artistic merit going into the decisions.

Lot's of injustice on those lists and nobody getting nominated from "Baskets" it seems has to be a big one. Especially Louie Anderson.
