Manifest cancelled at NBC

I just thought of a show that Manifest reminds me of -- Falling Skies! Good cast, interesting idea, doesn't know what to do with that idea, so they don't really do anything and then move onto the next season.

Or The Outpost....similar with Great casting but plot seems to randomly change

Hopefully they've give us some real answers before the show ends. I enjoy it, but it was getting really frustrating that we were up to Season 3, and the show still hadn't really given us any real answers about what the hell was going on. Even Lost started to explain stuff by the time it hit it's third season.

The first 10 episodes of the final 20-episode season will land in November on Netflix. After three seasons of no common sense or internal logic, do you think there will be a satisfying conclusion?

I thought it was supposed to be Summer/August?

Wow... well, at this point, they will all be old enough for the 5 year death date.

I am not sure if it WILL be worth the wait... i sure hopeso. Just PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, DO NOT say "All Good things..." 2-3 times an episode.... if they save it for the final episode, cool. But PLEASE don't overdo anything!

It was all a dream. Had to be. Nothing else would make sense.

I quit after one season so good luck with that.

(I'm lying.)

Prince Charming had his face eaten off and he can only communicate with sign language.

If you start watching again, you'll eventually reach a point where you won't have to look at his cocky face or listen to his smarmy voice.

It turns out that everything that happened on the show was just promotion taken to the next level for the return of the band.... The Calling!

At this point, after all this time, I just want the final answers to make sense. I'm not sure how good the chances of that actually happening are, but I'm going to be hopeful.

Well, the final episodes have dropped. So far so good except for the return of
Angelina. I HATE her story line with a passion and had hoped that all had been resolved with the first set of final episodes.

I have to admit I did a little “fistpump-YES!” toward the end when a certain something happened. If you know, you know.
Overall, I thought it was a really good finish and it made me smile at the end.

We finished the series last night.

First, this show was ridiculous. Pretty much when they got to Noah’s Ark my eye roll became permanent.

But we had to know how it ended. I have to say the ending was better than I expected. The story made sense (kind of), those who needed it got their comeuppance, and they all lived happily ever after (basically).

My wife and I were laughing pretty hard at the idea of what everyone was going to tell Vance.

”So can you tell me what happened to the 11 missing passengers?”

“Well, you see we disappeared for 5 1/2 years into the glowing consciousness and then came back with messages from the universe, right? We solved mysteries for a time. Then they all locked us up as witches after we found the sapphire conducted the God Frequency. And then…”

“But what happened to the 11 passengers?”

“I’M GETTING TO THAT!”

I love it!

But yeah, you know the FBI/TSA/NSA/Whomever is going to be interviewing everyone just like they did originally. 11 passengers missing is one thing, but, um, how about the CAPTAIN OF THE PLANE!! How did the co-pilot not notice the captain suddenly vanishing. I guess he got up for a pee break and then *poof* the captain is gone. You can't say that they just weren't on the plane. Even back in 2013, cameras were everywhere, so there would have been evidence that they all boarded.

So now, flight 828 is going to have a whole new legacy.

Or I can just relax and move on to the next show. I'm actually in the middle of watching Madam Secretary, which I never watched during its run. I'd forgotten how much I love Tea Leoni.

So finally finished it (a lot of foot dragging from my wife).

So we know why Angelina disappeared.... do we know about the others?

A little cheesy for those who were saved

Also, i must have forgot .... but is it possible the pilot reappeared like Cal, since he, like Cal , didn't get back on the plane?

Also, they conveniently cleared up a lit of messy relationships.. for me, the messiesy actually might have been Olivia and TJ... thry made a great couple. Their first meeting ... yeah, huge age difference. But even when they first got together, wasn't she still a high school student studying for SAT (usually junior year).

Speaking of Olivia, her dad complimented her on everything except one quality she clearly showed -- her intelligence!

Oh...and i assume CGI for the kids at the end...and not pre filmed at the beginning?

Not as bad an ending as say, Lost.... but a wild ride, with things so ridiculous at the end

I’m a little half way through the last season. It seems to be going off the rails. Is this worth finishing?

I think so ... just for closure.

But it has been so long since i saw previous seasons, i forgot how many previous passengers they brought back, and why certain minor ones got the fate they did .

I would definitely want to hear your thoughts.

I wonder too if we can drop spoilers now?
