I just recently learned that the Manic Street Preachers are going to play some U.S. dates in support of their latest disc, Journal For Plague Lovers! (BTW, that's an absolutely great disc. Check it out!) And what's even cooler, I just learned that they will be playing the Varsity Theatre in Minneapolis, MN! I'm already making plans to go catch this show. It's a couple hours away, and I rarely ever get out of town since I don't drive. But in this case, however, it might very well prove worth the extra money and effort. Especially since the Manics' Stateside visits have been precious few over the years!
