TV Shows on DVD just reported on a surprise release - though if you're not in the US, you might as well skip this.
Warner Bros. has a "manufacture on demand" service where shows they aren't planning to put out (yet) in wide release on DVD can be ordered and they burn a copy for the customer.
The pilot film for Man from Atlantis is now available:

Unfortunately, Warners is only interested in American purchases, as the MOD service isn't available outside the US. So much for free trade with Canada.
And the fact Man from Atlantis is being done through MOD begs the question as to whether it'll ever receive regular DVD release.
But fans of this short-lived but well-remembered series (I knew Patrick Duffy from this show long before Dallas came along), and who fall into the chosen geographical demographic, might be interested.
