Man dies watching Twilight: Eclipse

I'm waaaay to cynical for this, he's 109 years old (according to Wikipedia) - some pretty important stuff stops working by the time you get to that age.

Forget the age. If he's a vampire, surely he has no blood pumping round his body, so unless he carries some kind of splint around with him, he's gonna be needing a chat with Pele.

Ahahaha. I have to admit, that had been on my mind...

wow that sounded creepy. Ok, rather, that had crossed my mind. ;)

^It's only the same thing people asked about Angel with Buffy, only he had a more pressing reason for not wanting to sleep with her.

Wow. What a terrible way to go. The last thing you ever watch is a Twilight movie.

When I go I want to go watching... something funny, I suppose. To take my mind off my problems.

Twilight is funny. Though unintentionally so.

There's no reason why a guy should be going to see Twilight other than the possibility of getting laid afterward. And even then there's got to be an easier way.

This should be ruled a suicide.

JACOB ISN'T A WEREWOLF!!!!

:sigh:

I suspect this guy died aroung the 100th time the teenage girls in the audiece whoooed over Jacob having a scene with no shirt on.

Hahahaha, we all enjoy superior films to those of Twilight fans.

Well, yes. It is our duty to educate them.

Your sarcasm meter appears to be broken. I distinctly recall seeing Transformers threads around these parts. And isn't there a Last Airbender thread open even as we speak?

I think it's yours that's broken. :p

I don't want to educate them. Twilight dispenses with then whole girls are smarter than boys myth.

I don't think that in Angel's case, the equipment stopped working. And it certainly didn't stop working for Spike. ;)

No....the reasons why they don't have sex are the least of my concerns, when I think about Twilight and it's sequels. I tried reading those books a while back, and I think I got through about 3 chapters in the first book before I declared the entire series Too Stupid To Care About.

I've not seen any of the movies either, although I am tempted to watch the first one, just to see in greater detail what all the fuss is about with some of my girlfriends who thought I was a geek to watch Buffy/Angel.

I'd be interested in your thoughts on the movie series, Vash, so, please, watch the movies and then post your rants and problems about them and let us, me, know if you want to strangle Bella and Edward as much as I do just to get more focus on the rest of the Cullen clan and of Jessica -and the rest of Bella's friends, all of whom are mostly secondary characters but vastly more interesting.

Charlie and The Mustache also need bigger parts.

Yes, but the question is why didn't it stop working ?

Next on "Erectile Problems of Fictional Characters" - Superman: Deadly Menace ?

Well, I would sooner die than watch that movie (unless accompanied by Rifftrax commentary.)

I don't understand people who do not like a good movie. I have seen all three movies and plan to see the next. I hope you feel better about the next Saga.:techman:

"Good" is subjective. A large group of people do not think these movies are "good" and an even larger group of people are put off by the subject matter.

There's also a small group of people who think Joss Whedon did a better job with this story ten years ago.

I think that the guy who died years ago while watching The Goodies was far luckier than this poor sod.

I fell asleep while watching the first Twilight movie but at least I did wake up (at least I think I did).

That's really sad to hear.

THANK YOU. I'm glad *someone* managed to overcome the urge to make a snide remark about this.

Say what you want about Twilight, (and I have, believe me) but first and foremost this is a tragedy. He was a kid. Dead at 23 years old. That's never a laughing matter.
