Despite what the article says, Brampton is not a suburb of Toronto. You could call it a "bedroom community" (which seems apropos in this context), but it's outside of the boundaries of what used to be called Metropolitan Toronto before the 1999 amalgamation. I would have to take a completely different transit system to get there, and it would take well over an hour (probably closer to two).
