Man Accidentally Shoots Nail into Brain

Had a man in my hometown try to commit suicide with a nail gun..
3 times...
After the first (with a roofing nail), he went to the hospital shouting that it was all a horrible mistake..and he was let go after a 5 day period of observation..
Second time (with two 10 penny nails) he underwent "treatment" for his depression and was pronounced well after 4 months..
3rd time was with THREE sixteen penny nails..and he was successful at his task...
3 times...

Wow! I mean, how do you "accidentally" shoot yourself in the head with a nail? That ceases to amaze me how ignorant our society has become.

You're going to be one of those fun posters who constantly tries to push buttons by talking about the downfall of society based on silly things like nail gun accidents and fat people yelling at stores, aren't you? JOY.

These tools require both knowledge and respect. I cant understand why that's so bloody hard.
Now, accidents happen, I can admit that. I once shot a nail through my arm because i was accidentally pushed from behind while wearing earmuffs. But even then, in a high intensity workplace, i had a medic on my case within seconds. And that was only a flesh wound that barely needed a suture kit.
I mean, I know that you cant expect everyone to have medical training, but some common sense cant be too much to ask for, can it?

And you didn't contact some kind of medical professional when you were dealing with that kind of head trauma? Not to mention a possible concussion?
