No clue. Like I said, it's a bad idea. Why would T'Pol be more prattish because she's part Romulan. She was raised as a Vulcan.

You don't think the scriptwriters overdid it a bit on the Vulcans, esp T'Pol being difficult toward the humans in Seasons 1-3 and scrambled to tone it down in season 4?
The point was the Vulcans didn't think Earth was ready for deep space exploration. They did help, albeit disapprovingly. T'Pol's criticisms regarding non-interference would have been based on Vulcan's own early experiences in space.
Been a while since I've watched ENT. But my recollection is they tried to match Spock's attitude towards humans Mild annoyance masking a begrudging respect and honest friendship. The conflict with Trip was very Spock McCoy. ( There's a ship you never see) If anything it's Archer who's the Prat in the first season. I didn't find it toned down. More like she evolved as a character. She "mellows" as the show progresses. As does Archer and Trip. She doesn't suddenly change her mind in Season Four
I thought Archer got angrier and more unreasonable as the series went on. Even going off on bursts of anger, I'm remembering the Vulcans from the beginning and 1st 2 seasons, for the most part. McCoy was very much a speciest jerk (cold blooded, pointy eared, green blooded).
"Fallen hero" at the end of season 1 shows T'Pol and Archer's relationship has already matured a lot.
Archer was always a bit angry, First it was at the Vulcans for holding humanity back. Later it was at the Xindi. That's part of his arc though. Toughing up so he can face what's out there. Showing the Vulcans humanity can make it on the Galactic stage.
Seasons1 and 2? That's only half the show. Might as well judge TNG on seasons 1-3?
Spock gave as good as he got. He loved to needle humans on being emotional and illogical. Loves to brag on how he's glad he's not human. Hmmm, sounds a bit prattish.
Spock was a big softy. That was his secret. He was secretly proud of being part Human but was all stiff-upper-lip about it. I think Spock is one of the greatest creations in the history of American TV. He is a tremendously sympathetic character who could be a big jerk at times, which, to me, makes him all the more sympathetic. Seasons 1 and 2 set the stage...the next two seasons were (very slowly) easing off the throttle. I still think T'Pol was too emotional, and negative, to be 2nd in command and wasn't particularly "Vulcan".
Spock is great, but not every Vulcan is Spock. Nor should they be. Nor should we confuse Spock with being the typical Vulcan. His non Vulcaness sets him apart as much as his non-humaness.
You keep saying things like "too emotional, and negative" or "not particularly Vulcan", But where are the examples of this?
I'm not watching the series at this exact moment. I remember watching ENT and thinking she was too emotional for a Vulcan and wondering if that was Jolene Blalock overplaying her part or the writers overdoing it to create drama or a bit of both.
That's a bit vague.
Of course part of T'Pol's arc is her being a little too emotional by Vulcan standards and her willingness to explore human culture. She's not alone in that. Enterprise introduces a group of Vulcans who also explore emotion. And then there is Sybok, the laughing Vulcan. IIRC, Tuvok also had emotional control issues.
Vague's gonna have to do..is just an opinion, after all

It was done on purpose by the writers. Her mother said her emotions were always close to the surface in Home.
I also talked about why she's more emotional than Spock in another thread and how unfair it is to compare the two. Besides, Spock is trying to be more Vulcan than Vulcan.

I think Vulcans are less forgiving towards Spock, than T'Pol.
I think it's more that Spock is trying to be compensate for being half-human. Worf did the same thing trying to be more Klingon because he was raised by humans. I have no doubt T'Pol was bullied just as much as Spock. If human bullies prey on the emotionally vulnerable, it's probably much worse with Vulcans.
