I don't think there's much future - pun intended - in a "post-DS9/Voyager/Nemesis" television series. The current movie has successfully reestablished the more rough-and-ready, expansive style of the original Trek in a way that would have to be pretty attractive to other potential producers.

I'm sorry Mr. Heinrichs but, Star Trek Phoenix is just... a fan made Star Trek Video. It doesn't has any novelty on it. If the CBS accept, we will just to see another TNG clone on TV.
You need a radical way to change the genre. Make it fresh, to make people interest with the franchise again.

Abrams found that, so his movie is a big hit. 
I really appreciate the effort behind this but I wouldn't want it to be the nest Trek series. :/ I also really dislike the ship's design. Good luck with this though! 
Update.
The Campaign is still on going and it seems that we continue to get more support. Like I said before, this campaign doesn't end until a new Series on TV or the people behind Phoenix are brought into CBS for a pitch.
Also there was a recent interview done with show creator Leo Roberts which gives more information about Phoenix and how it all came about. He also gives an update on Part II of the pilot.
