M-5 Voice

Was Shat the voice of M-5. Relistening to thru a decent receiver and speakers, sure sounded like it.

Yeah, it was Doohan. He also played the Iotian disc jockey in "A Piece of the Action." And Sargon, Yonada's Oracle, and any number of TAS men.

Scotty should have done a ventriloquist act for talent night.

Does anyone know who might have played the computer voice in "Lucy's Replacement" , an episode of Here's Lucy? (Lucy even references Star Trek in the episode - if he had, that would be funny)

Funny, I was thinking Vic Perrin. But MA says it was Doohan. Then again, MA has been known to be wrong.
I think Vic Perrin was the voice of The Guardian Of Forever in TOS S1 City On The Edge Of Forever.

And Ted Cassidy (aka Lurch of the Addams Family), did the voices of Balok in TOS S1The Corbomite Maneuver and the Gorn Captain in TOS S1 Arena.

According to everything I've ever read (including screen credits), Bart LaRue was the Guardian, and the Announcer from "Bread and Circuses," and the newscaster from "Patterns of Force," and according to MA, also Trelane's father, Provider 1, and Yarnek.

According to everything I've read, Vic Perrin was Tharn (and his Mirror counterpart) from "Mirror, Mirror," and Nomad's voice, and the Metron voice from "Arena."

And yes, Ted Cassidy was Balok's dummy (counterfeiting a species that Greg Cox calls the "Dassik," as a nod to Cassidy), as well as Ruk. I hadn't heard of him as the voice of the Gorn captain, but I can certainly believe it.
