Lursa's Child?

^Nah, Lursa and B'etor would have manipulated the father. There's no way Lursa would get herself pregnant without being sure she'd still have power.

Agreed. Whoever the father of Lursa's child is, he was probably just a pawn.

In fact I wouldn't put it past Lursa to actually have killed the child's father after he outlived his usefulness to her; Lursa certainly does not seem capable of any kind of feelings of romantic attraction, love, or even compassion. She is utterly cold.

Personally, I'm glad that nothing further was mentioned, or made of Lursa's pregnancy. The Duras family was never that interesting to me. I never got why they kept coming back, although I have to admit, when the Durass sisters were dissin' Bev in Generations, I did have to laugh at that. When Duras' unknown son came on the scene in Season 5, supposedly being groomed to become leader of the Klingon Home World, it was too much. I mean ... TNG just won't let go of this Duras angle. It was great when Worf killed Duras, even though it was with a bat'leth, the most mentally challenged of Klingon weapon designs. Barely penetrating Duras' uniform and gone all wobbly ... but, never mind. That really should've been the end of it all.

I liked the Duras family. I don't see Toral as being groomed, per se, it was more like the Duras Sisters pulled him out of their behinds and were using him to gain power. I recall them totally dismissing him and ultimately leaving him behind to be captured or murdered. I liked how Enterprise added more to the Duras history, thought it was a cool reference. I do wish that the sisters hadn't been killed in Generations. I think they could've been a lot of fun during the Dominion War, perhaps in league with the Dominion. To me, with their political machinations, I think it could've been a nicer fit for the later seasons of DS9.

As for Lursa's son, I'm glad at least that Star Trek Online is doing something with the character.
