He died of a massive stroke this morning. Link
It must have been a massive kind of stroke. I've heard about it and thought that he would be in good hands, getting treatment and all the possible care. Obviously I was very much mistaken.
52 is an age where you should have at least 30 years ahead.
RIP, Luke Perry. That really, really sucks.
Ah damn.. I heard he was in the hospital. Have been loving his role as Archie's dad on Riverdale. Crap... RIP, sir...
All I can think of is 'fuck'.
Too young. RIP.
Loved him on 90210 and was looking forward to seeing him in the revival.
Heard he was in the hospital and thought he'd be in good hands too.
It's been a hard day for 90s icons. First Keith Flint from The Prodigy and then Luke Perry. Aged 49 and 52. Both have gone far too early.
Very sad news. It was wonderful to see him on Riverdale these past few years.
That makes me very sad. His loved ones must be devastated.
When I was in graduate school, 90210 was my weekly soap. My friend and I would hit the campus pub after teaching for a few beers, then go home and watch. Gone too soon.
RIP Mr. Perry.
I extend my condolences to his family, including his estranged half-brother Krusty the Klown.
Perhaps those close to him can take solace knowing he will live on in a shout-out from a great Weird Al song...
Getting close to home. I am a year older than he was.
^ You’re still young. I bet you have plenty of living left to do!
He was a year older than me. I can't imagine dying at 52.
