...a movie about the Tuskeegee airmen. The big debate:focus on the racial battle at home or the combat over Germany. The film will be based on oral histories Lucas recorded at his Skywalker ranch with surviving members of the unit. The big question is-Can he avoid sucking the life out of a naturally interesting story or will he pull a "Phantom Menace"?
I think he's got a chance of doing good since it doesn't involve the fanboy Star Wars expectations. The pressure levels should be lower, allowing him to concentrate on what he wants to do with the story. IMO.
