Loving Nibbles

The Fifth Element, a movie that people either like or hate, never seems to be a middle ground, was kind of cornballish. With love being the crucial element that drove it all home..

Can you think of another scifi movie/tv show were love played such an important part? No, I dont mean Leah and Han, or Kirk and Spock (for those of you into that)..i mean love as the riding them of the movie. I guess, in away, LOTR movies could apply...but a movie where love is the the backdrop to everything...

(and no, Flesh Gordon does not count)...

The Fountain? I was super sick when I tried to watch it but I had alot of difficulties with it. But that was about love right?

The Abyss - the relationship between Bud and Lindsay was very well acted, well written, and reasonably central to the plot.

Maybe The Matrix? Trinity's love for Neo was the foundation for her belief that he was The One...and his love for Trinity caused him to reject returning to the Source in Reloaded, forcing a fundamental change in the human/machine relationship...

Yeah...I think that aspect of the MATRIX fits the bill. Love your avatar by the way!!!
