really enjoy that all startrek evolutions have the same fighting style : really wish we fought like that now cant wait until the future : ive never been able to knife hand some ones kneck or grabboth my hands and hit some one in the side or back or taken ahuge long leapat some one : just watched an episode of voyager and love that the fight and music was the same as in tos : if jedi is a religion : who wants to start a martial art school based on federation fighting with me?

Ha ha, as long as it's not about time travel. Then you'll get arrested and your organs harvested. JK LOL

Oh my God yes! She is the one who is able to take down all Cardassians, Klingons, and Jem'Hadar that are twice her size. One double-handed blow to the back and they're down like an old car.

However, the title of the thread just made me think of Amok Time. One of Trek's most iconic bits of music, and one of my favourite episodes of TOS.

i just want to throw my arms in fromt of my self and jumpingly lunge at two people all tumbling to the ground then combat rolling to the side : problem with post 1990s fighting is not enough leaping flailing at each other

Reminds me of how when i was younger a friend and I would break out into mock Start Trek fights using Kirk fighting moves while doing a bad impression of the music. I was such a nerd.

It's the "bar fight" style from old cowboy movies from pre-seventies cinema; big swings and karate chops to the back..

oops pants ; really need to get a new screen: i think having children is the biological choice to never have anything nice again lol

I like TOS' style of fighting. It's fittingly wholesome, like the rest of the series ... and entertaining, as well. In fact, I always took it as an homage to those 1930's Flash Gordon serial-styled fights. I wonder if TOS had used the same kind of flatulent spaceships Flash Gordon used, if audiences would've found that OK? It would only add to the festivities, I feel ...

the one thing that always bigs me is the space views almost always show it vertically orientated i sometimes would like tonsee it diagonal upside down in space jist for realism:
