I caught a few episodes of "I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!" where Lou currently is. I was pleasantly surprised to find him a very down to earth human person, especially in comparison to some of the other personalities on that show (Daniel Baldwin, Stephen Baldwin, Janice Dickinson).

I hope his Colonel Telford character is much of the same!

Phillips seems to be aware that he is putting on a performance for that show. The others are just acting out. Not that I saw much of that muck, but at least Phillips has the brains to be in on the joke, to make sure that we know that he knows, and not to come off like an idiot.

I have watched a few episodes....and Lou seems to be practicing for the leader role in Stargate.

In fact, he was even voted leader fo the group for the first couple of weeks (i think there were term limits, so John Salley was then voted leader). Definitely led very well.

He showed a respectable diversity of emotions/sides .. competitiveness, loyalty, respect, tenderness (he got a bit sappy when he got to Skype with his child & wife).

He's one of the the Final Five (not THE Final Five, but they're voting off 2 more).

All5 are tought but respectable competitors. (This show was definitely good for Patti's image).
