Lost: Via Domus game SPOILERS

Any one else play through this game?

If so, any explanations on the ending?

SPOILERS

How did Elliot see the crash from his boat and why/how did he wakeup there again with the girl still alive? Was it time travel and he undid the murder of her or something?

Do the producers of LOST consider the game canon?

The game isn't canon per sey, but the main game writer is a writer that was on the show for a year or two and the ending specifically was floated to them by Carlton/Damon/JJ so I tend to think that there's some clues to be had there.

I completed this game shortly after it came out and while the game itself wasn't very good at all, I thought it made for a nice episode (or two) and the ending totally rocked. I still wouldn't recommend the game to anyone but an avid Lost fan - but - the ending really helped make up for a lot.

As for how it happened, I'm guessing he left the island at a trajectory that wasn't 305 (or 325, I can't remember which it was) and he got flung back in time but since he had changed, he would have no longer let the woman die.

Just finally getting around to playing this, and so far I'm enjoying it. Gameplay itself could be a bit better, but so far there's nothing in it that contradicts the show itself, so I'm considering it canon.

The story is the winning point though. Feels like a side episode of the show to me.

Just curious, didn't Hurley or somebody mention a character named Elliot in one of the episodes? I may just be remembering wrong, but I could swear somebody mentioned an Elliot.

I enjoyed the game itself, however the lack of vocal performances from most of the cast, coupled with some very disappointing replacement actors for them did spoil it somewhat.

I completed the game within a single night and got 100% achievement score. The game was pretty fun though despite being too simple & short, you can tell it had a very short production. It looked nice and the story was pretty good, I loved how I needed to use the gun about 2/3 times in the entire game especially the bit when you kill that dude chasing you. However I hated the circuit crap and a lot of the main cast voice acting were shit (dunno who they got to voice em but :wtf:). I loved ho it was set out in episodes and the recaps stuff made it feel like a TV show.

It was worth the £7 I paid for it and did help me get 1000 points for my gamerscore ;) (7.0 score for LOST VIA DOMUS)
