Lost SPOILERS Freighter!

The video was taken down yesterday and it was put back up and now it's gone. Weird.

ABC got it taken down:

Update: 13:30 GMT Well it seems that ABC/Disney have now requested that Dailymotion motion to remove the video. I won't be re-uploading the video again I'm afraid so you will have to look through the comments to see the spoilers. I'm not going to start playing a copyright dance with the video hosting companies ;) It's a shame that no one from ABC contacted me as a simple email would have sufficed. I'll re-upload the video after the episode has aired so that we can see how accurate these were.
Update: 20th May I've just found out that Brightcove removed the video at the request of ABC/Disney.

Podcast summary

- Special repeat of Part of Finale before Parts 2 and 3 which will show deleted scenes from the Press Conference of the O6. ***
- The Orchid will be seen in the Finale
- They don't say who Abaddon works for but he is not "top of the chain"
- They discuss there favourite characters - CC is Sawyer, Damon's is Jack (He prefers Jack with chest hair).
- We will see Walt again
- The Island will not let Widmore, Ben and Jack die until it's finished with them
- The Island stopped Jack from committing suicide.
- They will be going into radio silence until Comic.Com in July.
- A few more podcasts after Comic-Con will follow before Season 5 starts
- ABC advisory panel have nominated an episode for Emmy consideration

From what I've read Jack says in the pres conference that Boone, Libby and Charlie were the other survivors of the crash. They later died of course.

Mmm, from what you said about the Island not letting Jack commit suicide can only mean one thing. In order to get back to the Island, Jack must start to believe.

Okay, so Here I'm a bit curious. you would think that if there were 3 other survivors who must have been buried on an island or something that the O6 ended up on, that the families would want the bodies recovered. But as we all know those bodies are on "our" island and presumeably not retrievable, at least via conventional means.

Why mention other survivors at all? what would be the point?

LA Times article on the finale

It's not too spoilery but there are some hints at some stuff. One thing I found interesting is that they started deciding who was in the Oceanic Six back in season 2. Jack, Kate and Aaron were picked then. Sayid, Sun and Hurley were picked after they negotiated the series end date:

JUST HOW did these half a dozen plane crash survivors -- and not their counterparts -- come to be the Oceanic 6?

The producers began to make their selections in the second season but did not pick all six until after they had negotiated 2010 as an end date for the series and could plan out the rest of the stories. The first requirement was that they had to be passengers on flight Oceanic 815, which crashed on the island on Sept. 22, 2004, and not any of the other island inhabitants.

"Jack has been saying from the word go, 'I'm gonna get everybody off the island.' So we thought, 'What happens if the hero accomplishes his goal but realizes he's made a horrible mistake?' " Lindelof said. "And he would only qualify it a success if Kate were off the island as well. We also knew the baby had to be a part of it. Then we asked ourselves, 'Who are the other people who have something to go back to and what might their lives be like off the island?' "

The answer was Sayid, Sun and Hurley, but Lindelof and Cuse won't say exactly why, noting that some of their reasons are based on events in upcoming seasons that even the cast ignores at this point.

From ausiello:

Ausiello: The significant death I hinted in the last AA? It's for sure an original cast member. This just in: Better make that (gulp) three original cast members. That's right, per my Lost mole, a trio of island vets won't survive tomorrow's finale. Crikey!
I think Michael is going to die. I think he was brought back to be killed off. He murdered two people so I think this is how he gets redemption. He dies saving a bunch of his fellow plane crash survivors.

The second death...is
Locke according to Lostfan108
.

Third death....Jin?

Six sneak peaks for the finale

Someone clever needs to do some maths. At this rate there well be less than zero original cast left by the end of the show.

three almost sounds as if abc is telling them to cut the cast to cut the bidget.

with the six gone there isnt a lot of the original cast left.

Remember though, this is lost, even if the character is dead we'll very likely see them again at least once. Just about every dead character has returned at some point in a flashback apart from the DUI's.

Cynthia Watros though did appear as a ghost/apparition/dream whatever.

I've watched all 6 sneak peeks and one of the more interesting ones shows Ben about to enter what looks like a Star Trek-like Transporter. It could be a washroom for all I know, but those doors look a little too scifi for a washroom.

The original cast:

Jack - O6
Sun -O6
Sayid - O6
Hurley - O6
Kate - O6
+Charlie
+Boone
+Shannon

The deaths are narrowed down to these:

Michael - likely
Jin - likely
Locke
Sawyer
Claire
Walt

That will leave three original 815 survivors from the main cast on the island. :wtf:

Was she DUI? I honestly don't remember! Maybe she wasn't as bad a DUI as Ana Lucia?
IIRC they were both arrested the same night and were about equally plastered. The difference was Michelle Rodriquez had a history of DUI that Watros didn't have.

By the way Doc Artz says lostfan108 was wrong about who is in the coffin.

AICN says Greg Grunberg makes an appearance probably in a flashback.

Okay, I can't wait to see who's in the coffin. I'm guessing it's Michael considering his mom and Walt are in this episode, but if they do go down this road, it's going to be very very stale in my opinion. I hope they throw us a curve ball.

I don't think coffin guy is Michael. I think he's going to die on the freighter. Michael's not shocking enough as coffin guy.

Oh good. I had begun to regret reading the spoilers. Whether Lostfan108 was right or not, at least now I can go in and be surprised either way.
