For those that might not have seen this. Here is the package art for the season 6 set and the complete collection! Looks sweet.

According to the press release, the complete collection has these extras.

So we are finally going to get an "official" map of the island?

That should be interesting to see how people were able to so quickly get from one location to another sometimes, while other time it would take days.

Like Ethan making it from the village to the Losties crash site in a couple of hours (at most) while later it took the Losties a couple of days to reach the village. And numerous other instances like that.

ISLAND MAP?! Thank you! Finally! Back in S2-3 my obsession was figuring out the locations of the stations on the Island. I've gotten away from it since then but I've always wished they would release an official map!!!

This just gave me another reason to wait, save up some money, and simply buy the complete series instead of getting each season individually.

I read somewhere there would be 12-14 extra footage serving as an epilogue with Ben and Hurley in the BR Complete collection.

According to Jorge Garcia in the podcast interview posted elsewhere the DVD is going to include an "Unanswered Questions" section which will have additional material they shot, presumably including the Hurley/Ben epilogue.

No, according to Jorge's podcast, the extra footage will only be on the Complete Collection, not the Season 6 box sets.

That being said, I'm sure many people will post that scene online in various ways so I'm sure it'll be accessible.

It's important to remember that its not the Lost people making those types of decisions, it's the ABC/Disney people. And Disney probably doesn't give a lick about "loyal" fans or not. They will try and wring every damn cent they can out of the fans and the series.

I seriously doubt this will be anything but a humourous gag Darlton came up with, similar to the "alternate endings" they considered.
