Hey guys! I just recently started watching the first season of Lost and I just finished the 8th episode. So far the story is very interesting and I can't wait to see where it's going to go. My favorite characters are probably Jack, Charlie and Sun. I really hate Sawyer he's such an asshole. Even though I've learned some of his backstory I don't feel one bit of sympathy for that selfish bastard.

So now that I'm thoroughly hooked, Ill be coming back and posting my thoughts as I go along. Try not to spoil anything for me!

All I'm gonna say is don't expect anything to ever be resolved. Things kind of get half-resolved, but in that resolution there are 86 new questions. It will take all your strength not to throw things at the TV.

Season 1 is great. Season 2 is OK, Season 3 is good and Season 4 is freaking AWESOME. You have a lot of great episodes awaiting you. Enjoy!!

No. Not in a manner of speaking. Lobsters are generally red, can't fly through space, and don't have entire islands on their back. It's more lobster like than an actual lobster.

And there is going to be a "real explanation." By the time you get into S4, the outlines of what's going on will start to take shape.

Walkabout shocked me so hard. The whole time you never knew Locke was in a wheelchair and then the camera moves behind the desk and there it is. That was when I was like "Something is so wrong with this island" (besides the monter attacks). This series is deffenetally like X-Files......only better.

I loathed Sawyer in the beginning, but I slowly began to like him (starting from when we learn about his parents) and now I absolutely love him. Conversely, I liked Jack a lot until one pivotal moment (I won't say when because as of your last post, you hadn't gotten to it I don't think), but ever since I've hated him. He and Kate are the only two characters I've hated on the show. Well, except for a certain pair in the third season, but everyone hated them.

I hated Sawyer, began to like him, then hated him again, but now I like him.

I never liked Sawyer. And after rewatching the DVDs I still don't. I tried to be vague in my description but had to delete because it's still spoilerish.

Jack would have been fine if he didn't feel for that tormented soul named Kate.

We're in the fourth season and we still don't really know what's going on.

I'm stubborn as a donkey when it comes to this show, I'm gonna try and see it through to the end. Though, if it keeps pushing me around in circles, one day I'll definitely just be gone.

Sawyer is cool now. He was a jerk at the start, but he has really grown. I actually like him better than Jack now.

I like Sawyer. I've always liked him more than Jack. But that's because I find him more physically attractive than Jack. Damn me and my shallow fiangirl ways. Still, at least lately I've had more legit reasons for liking him more.

Season 1 is great. Season 2 is OK, Season 3 is good and Season 4 is freaking AWESOME. You have a lot of great episodes awaiting you. Enjoy!!

I'd say Seasons 1&2 both start out awesome, and end awesome, but they sag in the middle to the point of utter tedium.

But yeah, Season 4 was 7 billion shit-kicking shades of brilliant.
