Lost episodes of Phase II/New Voyages

^^^Or you can let Phoenix219 express an opinion without being condescending by telling him to "move on".

Thank you Maurice... I know i'm new here, but I've been lurking for a long time now. I know this place can be a little touchy, but I really don't feel like I was badgering anyone. I know its possible if not probably that NV staff will see this at some point, but I wasn't directing it at anyone in particular, nor repeating myself. The early, unpolished Phase 2 stuff was actually what led me to fan films in the first place. For instance, I still enjoy the pilot, more then some of the later work; it may not be as well polished, but its just fun. I'm not trying to take away from any of the hard work they have done; if anything, I would appreciate getting to see more of it, regardless of the self perceived quality, or lack thereof.

You're welcome. I think "get over it" type comments are insulting and condescending, as are "calm down/chill" and other admonitions of that ilk.

There might be some advantages--both to our production and to our viewers--of making available various outtakes or deleted scenes from our episodes. There are also advantages to not bothering--and, instead, spending our time, energy, and resources in creating new stuff instead of sweeping up the cutting room floor. James has put out some snippets of our aborted version of "Mind-Sifter" in the past; I think he has since deactivated those clips on his YouTube channel after our final version of "Mind-Sifter" was released. I believe, at the moment, he's thinking that making these deleted scenes available is just more trouble than it's worth to us.

But thank you for your interest in our production--even in our "cutting room floor" stuff.

... Plus publicised unfilmed scripts include The Sky Above The World Below (Romulan episode with David Galentaux as Sarek) Kilkenny Cats, a Harry Mudd episode, First Voyages spin off, and more

Wow, you just took me back in time! I had developed storylines for several episodes of First Voyages, and the script for the pilot sits here on my shelf, sadly gathering dust :(

A pity, maybe the idea could be revived someday, somehow? I remember it vividly, it was so exciting the idea of New voyages getting a spin off set on board the Enterprise!!
