Lost Episodes being released as audios

holy crap, that's a huge price for audio only. Where did they pull that number out of? Yikes!

These are just repackaged re-releases?

They have been remastered, come with interviews with William Russell, Carole Ann Ford and Maureen O'Brien and pdf scans of the original TV camera scripts for all 25 episodes.

I think the old releases were just the audio, and were not great quality.

Hmm, culture clash I thought it was pretty cheap compared to what audios usually cost.

These are not new audios. They are re-releases in a box set, at an outrageous price. And considering that this is but pure profit for the BBC, I think it's way way way too expensive. The price Amazon is charging now should be the MSRP, and it should retail for half that, at most.

I agree, but the cost of audios in the uk is stupidly expensive.

It would be nice if they would use the audio + original shooting scripts to make animated versions ala the Invasion.

Even 70 pounds seems a perfectly reasonable cost for twelve CDs! In American dollars, that's less than $9 per CD.

The US will also get this boxset, I see.
