I hope this turns out to be more than just Sun and Jin asking everyone repeatedly 'Have you seen my husband/wife?' It's all they've been doing since mid-season 5 now.

I'm just looking forward to them spending time with each other, even if it only happens in their sideflash.

The sideways 'verse should be interesting, seeing how Jin was in that food locker from Syeid's POV sideways 'verse episode.

I just know I typoed his name there, it's early.

=P

Heh! I hope the script editors are doing their job:
"I Love you, Penny-- I mean, Sun!"

Seriously though, I'm looking forward to seeing Jin and Sun's sideways-slide since "Ms Paik", no rings, no english, and no clues about cash and coolers.

I too think the flash-sideways is going to be interesting. I think they're not married but they are going to start caring for each other in the flash-sideways.

And I hope we get a real nice music montage back on the island as Sun and Jin finally meet. (No deaths please!!)

Are we frelling there yet?

"Have you seen my husband? His name is Jin."

I just hope the package doesn't contain filler. :(

It has the unfortunate job of following last week's masterpiece.

Hopefully if Jin and Sun aren't married in the sideways universe, they will fall for each other in some sort of 'destined to be together' thing. Cheesy as hell but it would pander to my irrational Sun and Jin love a lot. :D

The answers you've been waiting for will finally be revealed...

What's the name of Richard's horse?

Will Jack get a new tattoo?

Will Jacob acknowledge he was in No Holds Barred?

Will everyone stop answering questions with questions?

Is the guy playing Desmond getting paid for every episode?

The answers you've been waiting for will finally be revealed...

What's the name of Richard's horse? Mister Ed....

Will Jack get a new tattoo? Isn't the 108 he has enough ?

Will Jacob acknowledge he was in No Holds Barred? Not in this lifetime, maybe in a sideways 'verse flash tho'.....

Will everyone stop answering questions with questions? Sorry it's the nature of LOST to have more questions then answers....

Is the guy playing Desmond getting paid for every episode? Why, yes he is, even if he's not in the episode in question.....

I'm really hoping Sun and Jin do actually get back together in this episode, they've been apart long enough. I'm also really looking forward to the flashsideways too. I have to admit most of them have pretty suprising for me, so I'll be curious to see what they have in store for the Kwons.
I wonder if we'll find out which of them is the Cadidate?

And here I thought "The Package" had something to do with Jin's infertility. ;)

Anyhoo... Lost is always engaging, but this installment was rather average and I knew the ending would have something to do with Desmond. Can't wait to see what that's all about. I'm also looking forward to seeing what happens to Sun now that she's been shot.

I know this'll be a minority view, but it was a step-up from last week for me, likely because I care more about characters than mythology. I enjoyed both the sideways stuff and the on-island stuff. I gave it Above Average. Hopefully the last string of episodes will start churning out the Excellents.

Nice to see Sun finally get more than 2 lines in an episode this season, and Yunjin Kim gave a fantastic performance.

My biggest problem with Jin and especially Sun in the last couple of seasons though is that they've sort of lost their individual identities since being apart. Their characters have been reduced, as coolghoul said above, to simply looking for the other. They've been a bit one-dimensional...hence why the sideways-story was great for both of them.

I liked the ending, Kevin Durand is funny in his role, Sawyer and Miles had some good quips, and I actually liked the Jin/Sun story. But this felt like a mostly average episode.

I'll second the "meh", with a few exceptions.

- I've long thought Desmond was some how special or unique based on what Faraday had to say about him several seasons back - and - I really like Desmond so I'm glad he's back and apparently in a pivotal role.

- Keamy was great in this episode. Also like seeing Mikael and his eye loss again.

Beyond that, it moved the story along a little bit but not enough to keep me really interested.

7.6/10
