One thing I did like about the Jack-Kate thing is that we immediately saw it fall apart and they didn't drag it out over multiple episodes. Also, Jack is repeating the same behavior with his first wife Sarah. He stresses out, tries to control her, she runs out on him, he turns into psycho stalker alcoholic. Nice.

Ah, I had forgotten about Sawyer's daughter! That is the most likely explanation. Not to mention the fact that Kate already knows that woman from their Thelma and Louise episode!

I'm surprised that people were bored by this episode. It had some good stuff in it. Any insight into post-island life is pretty fascinating if you ask me.
The only insightful thing about the flashforward was the revelation that Sawyer chose to stay behind. Gives further credence to the theory that Jin is in fact alive (but Jin and Hurley think he's dead).

I was thinking about skipping this tonight, and I guess I could have without missing anything. Boring. My first below average ever, I think. I'm sick of Kate, and Jack bores me...

The ending was interesting, though.

And boo, showing us the dead Danielle and Karl. :(

Also, Jack is repeating the same behavior with his first wife Sarah.

In fairness, Jack's wife was a bipolar bitch. She leaves her first fiancee to go with Jack, then leaves Jack in less than a year.

^ I wasn't bored at all.

It was sad to see Danielle and Karl like that, confirms they are dead. :(
They bury the bodies but not the faces? That was weird.

I want Jack to find out that Claire is his sister - while they are both still alive. I don't know why or what I expect. I just do.

Sawyer has gotten WAY too protective. Seems some of the characters were not in character tonight in an effort to make the story work. Just weird.

Ah yes the other big question. Why is that Jack can't raise Aaron? Is this a connection to psychic telling Claire all the way back in S1 that the baby must not be raised by another? Does it just mean Jack should go back to the Island? Or are we getting back into Aaron is the Anti-Christ thing? Is Aaron the next Ben/Jacob?

Well, it's official. Rosseau is dead. :( But was it just me or did the two corpses look NOTHING like the actors? And they only died what 24 hours ago?

Yeah, I thought the same...when Miles unearthed Rousseau and asked "Is that your French chick?", I thought it was actually Karl...

Yeah, I will say I was holding out some shred of hope that Danielle would still somehow have survived that whole ordeal.....I guess if nothing else, we know she didn't which is too bad 'cause I think she had some room for growth. Apparrently not enough time to involve her story any more than it already was.

I liked when Christian called out 'Jack', it wasn't a 'booooo, jaaaaaack' ghost-voice, it was 'JACK!'.

We knew that she spoke foreign languages though, so I didn't see it as a contivance.

Ah, I don't remember that being mentioned. Still a bit convenient, as it's not a hugely common language outside of Korea itself so I'm puzzled why Charlotte would know it so well, but I can let it slide if her general linguistic knowledge has been mentioned before.

Also totally forgot about Sawyer's daughter too....even reading about it in this thread I don't remember. I need to start keeping files on all these people for handy reference. :p

Another funny nit about the episode. So Jack and Kate are raising a 2-3 year old kid... yet the kid is only seen a couple of times and they're having naughty sex around the clock? Yeah, right. What do they do, feed him horse tranquilizers so they can sneak off to bonk?

I have to say, Kate has diminished as a character ever since Season 1. She exists solely to be the love interest of Jack and Sawyer. Nothing more.

Average although it's nice to remake the acquaintance of all the dead people showing up. Surely Rousseau will make an appearance any day now. And then we get to meet a new dead guy next week - at least he seemed chatty. The other ghosts seem a little standoffish.
