Lorca and Landry romantic relationship?

Landry was the writing crew's "OMG, No One Is Safe!!!" moment, designed to sell Discovery as the new Game Of Thrones Must See Quality Drama Thingee...

My Initial Caps Lock Key is stuck.

Trouble is, they couldn't come up with a more shocking and unexpected way for a character to die than by being completely stone stupid. So anyone in the audience who thought Landry was coming back out of that chamber with one of "Ripper's" claws anywhere but tearing through her sternum must already have been deeply impaired from the "Take a shot every time someone in Spandex talks tough" drinking game.

(Really, Landry climbing into the lion's cage naked was their clever move - in the first draft it was Stamets who died, from sticking his dick in the warp core Because Science.)

I dunno, I thought it was very clear that she was supposed to die. That's why I called it. She was, after all, a bridge officer who was not a main cast member. In retrospect it also makes it clear why they made her someone more suited for an Orion Syndicate enforcer than Starfleet. Her aggressive nature basically telegraphed her doom.

My expectation is only one other Discovery main character will be killed off over the course of the series. I'm betting it's Lorca, although it could be someone else. I'm also betting that at least one, if not two, of the primary Klingons will be gone as well.

Jason Isaacs hinted in an interview that there may be a romantic relationship between Captain Lorca and the commander landry

"...him and Landry certainly have a relationship that goes beyond, I would think, work."

they are from section 31! I have no doubt, I think it is easier to have a relationship with someone who shares your same secret.

mr and mrs smith in space

That's just morbid.

I like Lorca and also, supposedly no war in S2 (if commissioned) so I'm guessing they'll off Lorca.

Damn it.

In season 2, defrocked Lorca is on a cell on Discovery, and captain Saru is not so happy about that.

Or the klingons win, so Discovery runs away to a mirror universe full of primary colours, which we are familiar with.

Michael and Voq get married, to end the war.

And eat Saru.

I fear you're right, but I hope the show isn't that predictable. As an alternative, Michael might meet a heroic death to atone for her sins.

I would prefer that to her ending up in the captain's chair.

I keep wondering if they might pull a Blakes Seven and just kill everybody. Part of me would admire the balls of that.

No.

This is not the time.

It was time to face that fact before she was mauled by Lorca's doggy.

Actually, Is gnawing similar enough to kissing, that the Tardigrade and Lorca are eskimo buddies?
