If Lorca had a girlfriend on the discovery, Cornwall should have noticed at least a mote of evidence in his quarters that someone was sanding down his rough edges... Unless Lorca ejected all or her pink soaps and throw pillows, moments after Landry's corpse was teleported into space to be one with the universe.

Landry didn't do pink, it is not the Discovery way, they were doing it but there's no evidence. I think it's kind of a shame Cornwall didn't get to find out, or at least we didn't get to find out, how he got the scars on his back.
