Loose Ends Left Untied

I think one big loose end I would have like seen resolved was the fate of the USS Hera and its Captain, Geordi's Mom.

I heard rumor that her and her ship was taken to the Delta Quadrant by the Caretaker as prelude to Voyager but if that was true, why not used them in that episode where Voyager catches up with that other Starfleet crew thats was headed home before they arrive.

Someone mentioned the alien parasite conspiracy, they did send a signal out, who got it and did they try again?

While I am a fan of the novels, in my mind I keep them as two seprate TNG universes.

Actually, when you consider that Star Trek has established that there are 285,000 universes, this policy is not unreasonable.

To be more specific, 285,000 universes with recognizable variations of Enterprise-D - that were (presumably) all close to the Argus Array when things went ..... strange.

Probably a bunch of others as well. Though I find it amusing to try and imagine whichever alt-universe had 285,000-odd Enterprise-Ds all stranded together. Surely that was a possibility, however remote.

The whole Picard/Crusher thing. I really wish the writers would've made up their mind to either commit to it or just drop it all together. They (writers) were not very good at the whole "dating dance" concept and there was very little chemistry between Gates and Stewart to begin with.
