Looks like Netflix is interested in making a New Star Trek Show

To be fair, Coto was gaining viewers with season 4. Season 4 was almost effectively a creative reboot of the show. Wrapping up the Xindi stuff, jettisoning the temporal cold war, it became about exploring the future history of Trek. It felt like a proper first season for the show in a lot of ways. Keeping Enterprise closer to home, and dealing with the remnants of World War 3/Terra Prime/Klingons/Earth Romulan War.

Now, if Season 5 continued the same upward curve that Season 4 was showing(Not counting TATV), then it's possible Enterprise could have enjoyed four pretty good seasons of TV (4 thru 7)

I honestly don't see them ever touching on Earth-Romulan War stuff at all. If CBS is gonna do ANYTHING for the 50th, it's gonna be something that tries to reach a broader appeal. Something that gets both the TOS and TNG crowds, along with general audiences involved. If anything, I wager, it would be a miniseries with the possibility of testing the waters.

We all have wait until CBS make the announcement. When that be? I don't know. It might be in 2015 or 2030 or 2100? It may never be announce. we may never know that they're working on it until we see it advertise on one the networks own by CBS.

Well, that's a far cry from when you said this:

Unofficially they haven't publicly announce it yet. They are working on four stories. On 3 of them they haven't seen a script they like. The fourth on will be a mini-series base on the Romulan War. Yes the NX-01 will be in it, as well as the case of Enterprise.

It is unknown if they will have the Romulan war place before the signing of the Federation Charter or After.

But CBS won't officially announce it publicly until 2015.

That is because I was informed by the people that you said that misinform me, said CBS wasn't working on any Star Trek project, that I jump the gun.
Of course, they also said, that it will be in the 1st quarter of 2015. If any announcement is made?

Government? Who said anything about the government? Paramount owns Trek. If they call something Trek, it's Trek, whether the fans like it or not.

And Paramount owns Trek because the government backs up their claim to ownership.

True ownership of art lies in the original artist or nobody at all.

Paramount doesn't really own Trek anymore, but they do own a license (from CBS) to make and sell Trek movies. Sort of like how IDW has a license to make Star Trek comics or Pocket Books a license to make Star Trek novels.

Of course, they also said, that it will be in the 1st quarter of 2015.

And I'd really like to know where they got that info, because to my knowledge CBS has said nothing to anyone about any plans for a series.

First of all, Paramount doesn't own Trek. CBS does. Second, the "original artist" of Trek, based on your analogy, would be Desilu, not Paramount. But that doesn't matter, because your belief is flawed.

At the time when this campaign was started. A Facebook and Twitter account were created, which is link above and on several pages in the thread that I have linked. Which was suppose to had been created by Doug Drexler himself. One of the Administrators of that Facebook account told me, which I had told you.

They all of us that like that account, including John Eaves. That they were were in talk with CBS through a guy name Rob. Which I'm assuming is Roberto Orci himself, which is suppose to be in talks with CBS in bringing Star Trek back on TV. Of course it could be some other Rob? But I believe it is Mr. Orci himself that the Administrators was referring to.

That's a lot of suppositions, assumptions and might bes

How do you know that CBS haven't told anyone. Do you work for them? Or are you a fan. True CBS haven't announced to the main public: And true CBS isn't working on any Star Trek Projects at this time. CBS doesn't tell their workers of what going on behind close doors either.

But if they're planing in bringing Star Trek back on television and had set a date of when it will start. They would had told those that they are talk with of their plans of Star Trek.
And if those persons that are in talk with CBS, has a Facebook account? And decided to tell everyone on their account. I do know, according to them, CBS is not allowing them to start a jumpstarter campaign to rise money.

And I'd really like to know where they got that info, because to my knowledge CBS has said nothing to anyone about any plans for a series.

You don't know anything more then I do. You need to explain in why of what you have posted to me.

May I ask a question? Why is this thread still going? There is several sources that said that CBS had no interest of putting any new or revive Star Trek series on Netflix.

Really? Do you have a source for that? Last I've heard CBS has said nothing official about Start Trek TV series on any network(either for or against).

Nope. Season 3 started at 4M viewers, and bounced roughly between 3.5M and 4.5M for the season, ending at 3.9M.

Season 4 began at 2.9M, never broke 3.4M until the finale, and was regularly under 3M viewers.

Creatively it may have been better/different than Season 1-3, but the ratings continued to decline.

At the end of the day, I just think these people should quit handing out false hope to those fans desperate for a new Star Trek series. CBS owns Star Trek. When they're ready to make a series, I'm sure that they will announce it. Like the Abrams films, we will be surprised. It likely won't be Frakes or Dorn or Moore or Singer or Fuller, it will be someone from out of left field.
