a program that allows you to create a 3d environment that you can walk around in. Preferably free...like Minecraft. Although Minecraft is too old school looking. I wouldn't mind a game editor, but my experience with them is that they're pretty complicated.
I do have a 3D program, but I'm looking for something that's first person with the freedom of a fps. I'm working on a project, and while I have built it in my 3d program, I'd like to be able to walk around in it to get the "feel" of it.
Back in the day I was fairly proficient with Duke Nukem's "Build Engine", and I'd love something along those lines in terms of ease.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
