Looking for the 12. doctors coat

I`m thinking about cosplaying as the 12. doctor and I`m in the process of finding the right stuff.
I found this for his coat, it has its problems..

Problems: It has two rows of buttons, the doctors has only one, its black and red when it should be blue and red, plus it has front pockets while the doctors hasn`t if I remember correctly?

I would appreciate if somebody could point me to any better alternatives. I couldn´t find any licensed products. Sadly I don`t have the money right now to have anything custom made..but maybe the one under my link could somehow be modified? Maybe someone here has the "know how" and could tell me if that would be at all possible? Changeing the buttons should be possible, right?

Yeah, just unstitch the buttons and re-sew them on. My more immediate concern is that the coat is actually a fair bit longer than 12's, which is more of a "end at the waist" affair.

I'm prolly still gonna buy the shit out of that though.

I got no clue about sewing or if it would be hard or easy to just make it shorter somehow..well I ordered it and I will see what my friends mum who is pretty good at this stuff can do
