Looking for an odd game from my past. I think?

In Memoriam
I have a strange memory, from my childhood, only I'm not sure if it's a memory of a real event, or a memory of a childhood dream.

The time-frame is the early 1960s, and my father took me to an old, somewhat run-down bowling alley, where in addition to the regular bowling lanes, were a number of other bowling-related games like Duckpin bowling, skeeball, Bocce, and the like. But the centerpiece of the joint was what appeared to be an oversized miniature golf course, complete with hazards, but this too was a bowling related game, and one played by "bowling" the course with a duck-pin size bowling ball, rather than putting a golfball.

Has anyone heard of such a game?

I seem to remember playing something VERY like what you're describing in the late 70s in either Branson or Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri, or in Myrtle Beach, SC. (I was very young, but it would have had to be one of the three, since those were the only resort towns we went to back then, and the place I played it was definitely in a resort town arcade.) I just used my usually excellent Google-fu a bit but came up empty handed, aside from learning a lot about duckpin bowling that I didn't know before, and finding a video of a service member using the tobasco bottles out of his MREs as pins with a golf ball as the bowling ball. I suspect TtftB may be correct, but if so, unless you were also in one of those three places, it wasn't a completely unique set up.
